Concrete Restoration Solutions

RestoraCrete is the #1 concrete COLOR Staining Restoration Specialist

We use the industry leading products to deliver the highest quality finish in the market.  Since 1989,  this custom manufactured modified polymer, water-based, high quality concrete stain has made old ugly concrete look new again.  Our Solid Color Stain is NOT a paint. It penetrates the surface of porous concrete and forms an opaque (solid), breathable finish that requires no sealer.

The Solid Color Stain can be used to restore previously concrete colored surfaces or to rejuvenate old, tired-looking concrete by completely covering discolorations or stains. It can be used on concrete colored flatwork, vertical colored surfaces, colored concrete blocks, stained pavers, imprinted colored concrete, exposed aggregate, and many other concrete colored cementitious (stampcrete) surfaces. It can also be used with sandblasting stencils. It is perfect for use over previously color stained concrete micro-toppings and colored and stained concrete overlays.

With over 20 concrete stain colors to choose from our concrete staining product can accent your homes curb appeal and finish a custom look not imaginable with any other products.

Staining Flat Concrete

RestoraCrete | Concrete Staining

Most homes have some type of poured concrete with a basic broom finish or salt finish with no color (gray color).  Even though the original pour did not include any concrete color, discolorization, spots and stains still occur.  RestoraCrete can take old diminished, stained concrete and restore it to a like new finish by staining the concrete with Newlook's water based stains.  We can use a gray color that looks very close to the originally poured concrete.  This is the most cost effective way of restoring the color in your concrete.  Concrete Staining with our product does not change the texture of your concrete.  Our concrete staining system can compliment any concrete color stain scheme that goes with the decor of your home.

Staining Stamped Concrete

RestoraCrete | Stamped Concrete Staining

Stamped concrete, commonly referred to as patterned concrete or imprinted concrete, is concrete that is designed to resemble brick, slate, flagstone, stone, tile and even wood. In this section you will see how stamped concrete can be restored to like new conditions.

Due to the wide array of options when it comes to concrete pattern, concrete colors, and the cost of stamped, or imprinted concrete in relation to the materials it is a substitute for, the choice of stamped concrete is becoming more popular and frequent.

Colors and patterns for stamped cement are often chosen to blend with other stone, tile or patterned concrete elements at the residence or commercial complex. Complex designs incorporating steps, courtyards, and fountains can be achieved when patterns are pressed into the concrete. Stamped concrete can also be blended with other decorative concrete elements such as exposed aggregate finishes, acid etch staining or water based staining, along with a particular pattern, such as running bond brick, hexagonal tile, worn rock or stone. Concrete provides the perfect canvas for creating an economical replica of more expensive materials, and yet still maintaining a very natural, authentic look.

StampCrete is a very popular way of obtaining a pattern in concrete after it has been poured.  Very popular and there have been several ways of placing color on to stampcrete but regardless of how the original pour was completed, it will eventually fade, discolor and crack.  This is where RestoraCrete comes in.  We can take any color stampcrete and change the color, offer a mottled finish with a beautiful finish sealer to protect the product.

RestoraCrete | Micro Topping Restoration

All are similar in that they are designed to resurface using a very thin layer of cement. These skim coats are capable of resurfacing and covering floors, walls and accessories with a thin layer of polymer modified cement that can go down to 1/16th of an inch and usually no more than 1/8th inch. They are designed to resurface and add a new and refreshing canvas to the substrate they are applied to. A micro topping is also an ideal way for the addition of integral or topical colorations. Micro-toppings cover dull, drab, or damaged concrete surfaces that are otherwise poor candidates for the application of concrete stains or coloration or are used if a required color or texture cannot be achieved with a standard concrete substrate. They are often used on an overall smooth or level surface requiring only minor level adjustments or repairs due to their thin application.

Micro-toppings are products that are cementitious in nature.  In basic terms, its concrete mixed with Polymers that provide the chemistry for the concrete to adhere to the original or "old" concrete.  These products also come in different patterns and colors and also need to be maintaned as the suns UV's, foot traffic, sprinklers, rain etc. will fade the product and eventually needing a "restoration".  We can also provide a restoration service that will make these jobs look new again.

Pool Coping Staining Restoration

RestoraCrete | Coping Restoration

Precast Concrete is a construction product produced by casting concrete in a reusable mold or "form" which is then cured in a controlled environment, transported to the construction site and lifted into place. In contrast, standard concrete is poured into site-specific forms and cured on site. Precast stone is distinguished from precast concrete by using a fine aggregate in the mixture so the final product approaches the appearance of naturally occurring rock or stone.

By producing precast concrete in a controlled environment (typically referred to as a precast plant), the precast concrete is afforded the opportunity to properly cure and be closely monitored by plant employees. Utilizing a Precast Concrete system offers many potential advantages over site casting of concrete. The production process for Precast Concrete is performed on ground level which helps with safety throughout a project. There is a greater control of the quality of materials and workmanship in a precast plant rather than on a construction site. Financially, the forms used in a precast plant may be reused hundreds to thousands of times before they have to be replaced which allows cost of formwork per unit to be lower than for site-cast production.

Many states across the United States require a precast plant to be certified by either the Architectural Precast Association (APA), National Precast Concrete Association (NPCA) or Precast Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI) for a precast producer to supply their product to a construction site sponsored by State and Federal DOTs.

Pre-Casts products integral colors will fail over a period of time and restoracrete can make them look like the day they were installed.  Your eyes will not believe what we can achieve with your pool coping or wall caps.  Give us a call and we will be more than happy to show you what we can do with your caps.
